Change the World is a song written by Tommy Sims, Gordon
Kennedy, and Wayne Kirkpatrick. The song was first recorded by Wynonna
Judd. The best-known version was recorded by Eric
Clapton for the soundtrack of the 1996 film, Phenomenon. Clapton sang to his acoustic guitar
accompaniment. The single peaked at #5 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in the summer of 1996 remaining on the chart for over a year and a half.
I made a full band arrangement first recorded in 2009; remixed in 2015. Eric
celebrated his 70th birthday with a concert in the Royal Albert Hotel, London;
