Environmed Research Inc. was founded in 1984 In Vancouver, British Columbia by Stephen Gislason MD. The goal of the company was to pursue the basic biotechnology of health-promotion and disease prevention and management. Our main office is located in Sechelt on the Sunshine Coast close to Vancouver BC and Seattle Washington USA.

Alpha Nutrition was established as a division of Environmed Research in 1998. Alpha Nutrition® is a registered trademark.
