Alpha BMX replaces protein with a complete set of amino acids. All vitamins and minerals except sodium are provided at or above the recommended daily intake. The formula has little or no energy - just 2.8 calories per 10 grams. There is no fat in the formula. Some food intake is required to provide caloric intake. We strongly recommend Phase 1 foods found in the Alpha Nutrition Program to provide calories. When the formula is mixed with fruit or vegetable juices, calories are provided by carbohydrates in  the juice.  BMX is used to boost nutrient intake as you use the Alpha Nutrition Program to provide optimal nutrition as a new, improved diet is created.
